Where Your Community Begins
Founded in October 2018, A New Beginning Family Child Care was created during a new chapter in my life and built with family at the heart of everything I do. The name itself was inspired by my children’s initials and represents new beginnings, growth, and purpose. Since opening, the program has continued to grow, overcome challenges, including surviving the COVID-19 pandemic, and evolve into a trusted part of the community.
I provide a welcoming, home-like environment where children from 4 weeks to 14 years old can learn, explore, build confidence, and create meaningful connections. My program focuses on strong family partnerships, engaging experiences, and supporting children at every stage of development while giving families a dependable village they can rely on.
Families appreciate the personalized approach, home-cooked meals, transportation options, field trips, and the sense of comfort and connection that comes from being part of a smaller family childcare setting. In February 2026, the program proudly became a 5 Star YoungStar Accredited program, reflecting my continued commitment to providing high-quality care and meaningful experiences for the children and families I serve.
Meet The Owner
Danielle Hendrix
Ms. Danielle Hendrix brings over 18 years of experience in early childhood education, having served in a variety of roles including preschool teacher, lead teacher, assistant director, director, Head Start teacher, and VPK teacher. She holds Associate Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration and remains actively involved in the early childhood community through several professional organizations and leadership groups.
As both an educator and mother of four, Danielle combines professional expertise with real-life understanding, compassion, and patience. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children can thrive and families feel valued, understood, and confident in the care their children receive.
Tambala Batiste
Center Director
Tambala Batiste leads our center with dedication and expertise, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for every child. She is committed to fostering growth, curiosity, and confidence through strong leadership and hands-on guidance.
Jazmine Lewis
Assistant Center Director
Jazmine Lewis supports the center’s daily operations with passion and care, helping to create a positive, engaging learning experience for all children. She works closely with staff and families to promote development, collaboration, and a love of learning.

There is always something exciting happening in our mixed-age environment. From hands-on science exploration and creative art projects to community outings, this is your space to stay updated on how our children are building confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships every single day.
Pumpkin Patch Trip
Our favorite autumn tradition is back! Our mixed-age group is heading to the local pumpkin patch for hands-on exploration and outdoor sensory play. Check the parent portal for permission slips and departure times!
Back To School
Our school-age program is fully geared up for the new school year! We provide a reliable, supportive space for children ages 6–14 to relax, connect with friends, and receive daily homework support.
